Welcome! OrganizedLDSFamily.com is the right place for LDS Moms and parents to gather ideas, lists, books and information on keeping an organized LDS home. If you need ideas on keeping your home spotless, this is NOT the place for you. I like my home to be tidy, but not spotless. This way my family can relax, and I can do some important things besides always cleaning. I do put things away all day long, but that means adding to a pile on the stairs, and then eventually depositing in the room that it belongs. I consider myself a self-taught organizationalist. I wasn't born organized, though I am analytical and practical. I'm continually learning, revising, rethinking and changing how I do things in our home. Life is constantly in a state of flux, and so is our family. So, as you go through my website, I hope you find something that will help make your home a little bit better.
I base my organizing principals on this key scripture: “Organize yourselves; prepare every needful thing; and establish a house, even a house of prayer, a house of fasting, a house of faith, a house of learning, a house of glory, a house of order, a house of God.” D & C 88:119
Take a look in LINKS for ideas and websites about organization, home storage, food storage, chore charts, family home evening charts, homemaking, Scouting, Duty to God, Missionary Prep, family reunions, and much more for your LDS family!
Go to PRINTABLES for a sample of some of the Excel and Word documents I've created for your use. Or just click on a Department that interests you for some new ideas.
